.CVR File

File extension cvr is used by some programs from Microsoft Office suite, like Microsoft Outlook for some kind of their temporary files.

These cvr files are frequently found in Users\"UserName"\AppData\Local\Temp folder, in form of xxxxxx.tmp.cvr

These files can be safely removed from this temp directory, they just contain crash report data.

Files with cvr extension can also be found as crash reports generated by some of the programs from Microsoft Office bundle, like the Outlook. Generated when the program encounters errors and closes unexpectedly.

This files are usually generated when a crash occurs and are used for analysis by computer specialist. They are not mean to be opened directly.
