.CTX File

The ctx file extension is used by Microsoft Windows Terminal Server for backups of INI files.

Terminal Server is built in to all Windows servers and Windows XP/Vista Professional desktop systems. It allows users to log in remotely from various types of workstations and clients.

How to open:

The *.ctx files are simple text format. They can be opened in text editor (Notepad, Notepad++) or word processor (Microsoft Word, OpenOffice.org Write).

How to convert:

There is no way how to convert the .ctx files to other file format.
