.CLPI File

The clpi file extension is related to Blue-Ray technology.

The clpi files contain clip information stored in (Clip-info) directory (CLIPINF) which is composed of a plurality of clip-info files (11111.clpi, 22222.clpi, and 33333.clpi) connected to the above-mentioned stream files on a one-to-one basis.

Particularly, the clip-info files record attribute information and timing information of the stream files (i.e., clip files) therein.

The clpi files connected to the stream files (MT2S files) on a one-to-one basis are generically named a "Clip".

The clpi files are located in BDMV/CLIPINF direcotry.

A clpi file extension is associated with the Blu-Ray clip AV stream file format used to store information about video clip (attribute information and timing information of the stream files).

How to open:

This file type is not meant to be opened directly, there is no software that could open and work with it directly, or there is no information available in public sources about opening this file type. This is usually the case of some internal data files, caches, temporary files etc.

How to convert:

As far as we know, this .clpi file type can't be converted to any other file format. This is usually the case of system, configuration, temporary, or data files containing data exclusive to only one software and used for its own purposes. Also some proprietary or closed file formats cannot be converted to more common file types in order to protect the intellectual property of the developer, which is for example the case of some DRM-protected multimedia files.
