.BR5 File

The br5 file extension is associated with Bryce, a 3D modeling, rendering and animation program specializing in fractar landscape. It was formerly developed by Corel and later sold to DAZ productions.

A br5 file contains saved 3D scenes.

Bryce 7 is still able to open *.br5 files, but saves them only to *.br7 files.

The last version of Bryce is Bryce 7 released in 2010 that is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6. Snow Leopard.

This br5 file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Files with br5 file extension may also be found as 3D graphics scene files saved using the Bryce modeling software.

How to open:

Most likely only Bryce can work with these scene files.

How to convert:

Bryce may offer some export options to other formats, but that may not be the case for some older formats.
