What is an .BOXER file?

The BOXER file extension is associated with the application Boxer for Mac. Boxer is the emulator of MS-DOS old computer games that is based on the popular multi-platform MS-DOS emulator DOSBox. BOXER file is a data container called simply gamebox. It is used to store game data, settings, executable files etc. 

In default, Boxer for Mac stores gamebox containers in:

Users/<User>/DOS Games folder

To view content of gamebox container open Finder, press the right mouse button on .boxer file and select View content option from menu.
