.BMZ File

The bmz file extension is associated with the bitmap images that are compressed with ZIP, or GZ compression.

The compression is used to reduce size of large bitmap images, useful to transport them through e-mail, USB flash drives etc. Bitmap image can be extracted from the *.bmz file with any compression utility that supports ZIP and GZ compression formats.

Files with bmz file extension can commonly be found as ZIP compressed bitmap images. Some email clients do this to bmp attachments to reduce their size.

Use any compression utility to retrieve original bitmap image from *.bmz archive.

How to convert:

Original bitmap file, extracted from *.bmz archive, can be exported to other picture formats.
