What is an .BDY file?

File extension bdy is associated with the DMAP, a mapping software for producing Distribution Maps and Coincidence Maps, created by Alan Morton.

Two types of .bdy files for DMAP exist:

First contains Latitude+Longitude data for certain regions, the other contains grid reference boundary data. Both files can be converted to each other with LL2TM conversion utility obtainable on developer's website.

How to open:

You can import *.bdy boundary files to DMAP. It doesn't seem this file type is supported to other programs.

How to convert:

You can convert .bdy files with LL2TM conversion utility.
