What is an .BDR file?

The bdr file extension is associated with Microsoft Publisher, a part of Microsoft Office Professional Suite, which is used for to create professional documents and other materials.

The bdr files contain pre-designed borders, including multiple patterns that can be applied to a Publisher pub document file using the Publisher's BorderArt feature.

Microsoft Publisher includes more than 160 of such borders, which are saved in 15 .bdr files located in the Office\Borders folder.

A bdr file extension is related to the Microsoft Publisher and used for its border files.

How to open:

Use Microsoft Publisher to work with *.bdr files.

How to convert:

As far as we know, this .bdr file type can't be converted to any other file format. This is usually the case of system, configuration, temporary, or data files containing data exclusive to only one software and used for its own purposes. Also some proprietary or closed file formats cannot be converted to more common file types in order to protect the intellectual property of the developer, which is for example the case of some DRM-protected multimedia files.
