.AVASTLIC File

File extension avastlic is used for license files of Avast Pro Antivirus program, one of the most used antivirus programs, developed and marketed by Czech company AVAST Software a.s.

Typically found as licence.avastlic, these files are send to customers who purchased license for Avast antivirus. Avastlic contain essential data about the program license, like name, date, product name etc.

Purchased licenses are visible in Maintenance → Subscription menu option of the program.

Free version of avast! can be upgraded to Pro, when a purchased license file is imported to the program. These files are then stored in the license folder under Avast installation directory.

Files with avastlic extension are user's licenses for Avast! antivirus software. Usually found in the programs installation directory.

How to open:

With avast! installed, opening (double-clicking) on the .avastlic file imports the licence to the program, as this file extension should be associated with avast! by default.You achieve the same manually in Maintanace -> Subscription menu, where you can insert your licence.

How to convert:

There is no reason to convert this avast! licence file to other formats. Conversion is not possible.
