The auth file extension seems to be mainly related to ShopSite, a shopping cart software for small to medium-sized businesses.

The .auth file stores encrypted information about which kind of software you have purchased and where it will be installed. It is e-mailed after purchasing of the ShopSite.

As far as we know, this particular *.auth file type can only be used in ShopSite.

How to convert:

It is unlikely that this .auth file type can be converted to anything else.
