File extension aup is associated with Audacity, a free, easy-to-use audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems.

aup file contains project created in Audacity. The audio files, which are referenced by an Audacity project are saved in same directory with a same name to the project file, but DAT file extension instead.

Files with aup extension can be usually found as audio projects from the Audacity multiplatform audio editing software.

Use Audacity to open the *.aup files. It doesn't seem likely any other program can handle these files.

How to convert:

Audacity projects may be exported to a broad range of audio formats. Aup files are only project files, linked source audio data can be converted to other audio formats.
