.A2L File

The a2l file extension is mainly known to associated with the ASAP2 (ASAM MCD-2 MC) description file format used to describe parameters and measurements of an Electronic Control Unit (ECU), its communication methods and interfaces.

This type of  a2l file is used to give measurement and calibration tools access to the ECU.

Files with a2l suffix can be found as special measurement and calibration data saved in ASAP2 ECU description format.

Use ASAP2 Editor to open and work with .a2l description files.

How to convert:

Probably not meant to be converted to anything else and there may be no reason to do so anyway.
