.DBT File

The dbt file extension is used by variety of xbase applications, such as FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, dBase, Clipper, dBFast, JetForm Design, Oracle Database, OpenInsight, etc.

DBT database file contains only text "memo" (notes) about database tables, not any other database data, because standard database tables are limited of characters quantity then text files.

DBT database memo text file format has been repleaced by FPT database memo text file format.

This dbt file type entry was marked as obsolete and no longer supported file format.

This type of file is no longer actively used and is most likely obsolete. This is typically the case for system files in old operating systems, file types from long discontinued software, or previous versions of certain file types (like documents, projects etc.) that were replaced in higher versions of their original programs.

Files with dbt file extension are mainly found as database notes, some sort of memo descriptions for databases based on xbase applications (FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, dBase, Clipper, dBFast etc.).

How to open:

Use any xbase application (Visual FoxPro, FoxPro, Oracle Database, dBase etc.) to create or open a database memo file.

How to convert:

Typically these files are not meant to be converted. However as text files, their content may be simply copied out.
